Ultimate Flora® Senior 30 billion contains higher levels of Bifidobacteria compared to alternative probiotics. Around the age of 50 and through certain lifestyle factors, the level of Bifidobacteria declines, while the amount of harmful bacteria increases. The fact that the capsules are enteric coated means that you only need one, unlike alternative probiotics, where you have to take several capsules in order to attempt to get the probiotic bacteria through the stomach's destructive acid environment.
